Project Overview

Clinera Solutions is a medical device consultancy based in Portugal, supporting manufacturers with regulatory strategy, clinical evaluation, and technical documentation, so they can bring safe, compliant devices to market under EU MDR and other global frameworks. Clinera approached Ranking Surge to create a new brand-aligned website that would clearly communicate their specialist services, showcase the team’s expertise, and provide a credible digital presence for a growing consultancy.

The project focused on turning a complex, regulation-heavy offer into a clean, approachable online experience that builds trust with clinical, regulatory, and leadership stakeholders in the medtech space. From information architecture to UX and on-page SEO, every decision was centred on clarity, professionalism, and conversion-friendly structure.

We started by studying the market with extensive keyword research to ensure the language used throughout the website matched what their ideal target audience searches for, and organised the content structure in a way that is accessible to both users and search engines, promoting a clean and easy navigation throughout.

From there, we moved on to designing and developing the prototype, which helped them visualise how the website was coming along and exactly how it would look once published. The website was created in WordPress with a custom-made responsive modular design, we created 17 unique modules that can be used in different combinations to create new pages, providing the flexibility and scalability that they need as a growing business.

Once the website prototype was fully ready and with all the content populated, we moved on to the optimisation stage, which included a series of checks for WCAG Level A accessibility, as well as technical and on-page SEO checks and tweaks.

The website was now ready to go live, and we put GDPR compliant tracking in place so that website performance could be measured appropriately and finished up by optimising for performance and speed, obtaining 92/100 on mobile and 98/100 on desktop, when testing the website on Google’s PageSpeed Insights tool, which we think is pretty cool!
